Time to say Goodbye - Jackie Chan

Legendary action star Jackie Chan is saying goodbye to side kicks and life threatening stunts associated with most of his action movies. His upcoming film "Chinese Zodiac " has been identified as his last action flick. Jackie, 58, has a lot riding in the movie which he also directed, produced, wrote, and starred in the motion picture which has been scheduled to premiere in China next month. "This really, really is my baby. You know, I've been writing the script for seven years," Chan revealed.

However, if Chan is preparing to leave the world of deadly action cinema far behind, Chinese Zodiac is shaping up to be quite the grand finale. Promotional footage from the movie has been nothing short of impressive.
“I’m not young any more, honestly,” Chan said. “Why (do) I have to use my own life to still do these kind of things? I will still do as much as I can. But I just don’t want to risk my life to sit in a wheelchair, that’s all.”
In order to remove himself from harm’s way, the actor explained that he will make use of computer generated special effects and stunt doubles.
Chinese Zodiac finds Chan starring as a globe-trotting adventurer looking for the 12 statutes taken from Beijing’s Summer Palace by British and French soldiers during the Opium Wars. The film is the third and reportedly final installment of the actor’s Armour of God series. American fans may know these films as the Operation: Condor franchise.
