It has emerged Chris Brown is determined to perform a duet with his lover Rihanna at this year's star spangled show. While Rihanna has been confirmed as being one of the acts at this year's show, Brown has yet to be named as appearing.

But even if his plans are vetoed by the show's reluctant producers, it has also been claimed the pair are set to make a spectacular entrance by walking down the red carpet together.

A source close to the pair revaled that 'Chris doesn’t care what the haters say, and wants to give the viewers an over the top performance with Rihanna.

'He wants the fans to know this is the real deal, and he is a changed man.

'If Rihanna can forgive him, the rest of the world should move on from what happened four years ago.'

The source further explained that: 'It’s an extremely delicate situation and there is concern about the backlash the performance could receive. But it could also be ratings gold.'

But even if the performance does not pan out, they could still steal the show by walking down the carpet together.
